Tim was a bright, vibrant young man who cared for others and liked to volunteer his time to help kids with special needs. The Tim McMullan Golf outing is an annual event to raise funds in order to support students with special needs through the Tim McMullan Memorial Fund.
Money raised at the 2019 Tim McMullan Memorial Golf Outing went directly to helping and supporting local children with special needs.
Through Donors Choose we were able to provide a special education classroom with the necessary technology to enhance both the Math Center as well as the Reading Comprehension Center. For more information, please visit donorschoose.org.
The League of Yes is a league for special needs children that enables them to play baseball at a specially designed adapted field. Their objective is to provide an opportunity for children with disabilities to experience the many joys and benefits of playing baseball. Our donating has helped keep this league free for all of the players. Money raised at the 2019 Tim McMullan Memorial Golf Outing will pay for the t- shirts for all of the players for the league's 2019 season. For more information, please visit Leagueofyes.com.
As well as the organizations mentioned above, The 2021 Tim McMullan Memorial Golf Outing will also help raise money for an organization called Share The Voice. Share The Voice was established to help enhance the lives of children with developmental disabilities through therapeutic recreation. This organization provides highly-specialized, highly-adapted tricycles to special needs children free of charge. Each tricycle is unique, built specifically to meet the medical/ physical needs of each child. For more information, please visit Sharethevoice.org
As in previous years, money raised from the Tim McMullan Memorial Golf Outing will provide an award for students with special needs graduating from the CORE program at South Side High School. These students have shown exemplary effort to use their special talents and have made a lasting mark on their community.
